  • For 4.5 years, Sunday was my only day off. I could never relax or enjoy the day because it was the one day I didn’t work for 12 hours. That mean my Sunday was full of doing the things I didn’t have time for all week [laundry, groceries & errands]. Now I’m back to a 45 hour work week instead of 70 and I get to enjoy my nights and weekends. Every Sunday we’ve been waking up without our alarms and making waffles & sausage. It’s a little thing, but I love it so much. This week we added something new to our plates. Thanks to @influenster we were able to try some of the new #jumbosnax cereals. They taste just like the cereals you know and love, but they’re bigger and better for snacking on the go. I’m going to keep a box in the car because my kids are ᴀʟᴡᴀʏs snacking. I bought mine at @walmart but they should be in other stores soon! What’s your Sunday morning routine!? ✨✨ #JumboSnax #contest @KelloggsUS @Influenster #influenster #influensterdigitalchallenge #breakfast #sundaymorning #happysunday #sundaytraditions #sundaytradition #dashwafflemaker #lazysunday #sundaysarefundays #realmomlife #alwayssnacking #favoritesnacks
  • Valentine’s Day is in full force in the Finazzo household! Adriana is feeling very attached to the Christmas tree and didn’t want to take it down, so we decided to turn it into a Valentine’s Tree! And thanks to Genny 90% of the ornaments were already off 🤪 I literally only spent $2 at @dollartree for one garland and one 12 pack of foam hearts ♥️ I used a hole punch and rubber bands to attach them to the tree and viola! So easy and it’s so fun! I think the tree is here to stay. Have you decorated for v-day yet!?
  • When your four year old tells you she wants to bake a cake, you bake a cake! I am so thankful to have nights and weekends off now. It gives us more family time and we can do random, fun things because I’m not scrambling to get everything done in one day. Thankfully I had this Christmas funfetti mix on hand [that I kind of forgot about 🤪] It also gave me a reason to use my new @sweese.fans ceramic baking pans! They’re a set of 8 inch pans and they made clean up so much easier. I sprayed with cooking spray and the cakes literally fell right out - clean up was a breeze! I hate washing the dishes so that made me oh so happy. If you need me today, I’ll be on the couch watching @therookieabc and eating cake. Judge me. ... #sweese #sweesefans #sweesepans #bakingpans #funfetticake #pillsbury #pillsburybaking #momlife #girlmama #weekendsareforbaking #preschoolmom #preschoolmama #lazysunday #sundayfunday #sundaybaking #bakingincolor #handsonactivities #hotmessmama #hotmessmamaclub #hotmessmamalife #weekendsoff #insuranceagent #insuranceagentlife
  • Moms don’t get days off. Moms don’t get nice pictures with their kids. But honestly, I love this picture. It’s real. It’s raw. It shows me [braless] with Genny on my hip and Adriana close by - all of us still in our pajamas. My hair wasn’t brushed and I probably needed a shower. These are the moments I usually don’t find “picture worthy”, but these are the moments that I’m glad to have pictures of. 💗 Try to take some more unworthy pictures this year. You won’t regret it. [Photo cred to Matteo because Adriana said he couldn’t be in the picture, too 🤪]
  • Just over here drinking my way into the New Year... with a delicious caffeinated beverage cause I’m too old for this 😅 I’ve been back to work [with the kids back in daycare] for four weeks now and it’s kicking my butt. Not to mention Genny still wakes up at least once a night for formula (and she’s almost two and a half!) I’m exhausted and have a new bedtime of 10:30PM so we will see how far I make it. We already virtually celebrated with my in-laws since they’re six hours ahead, so that counts, right?! 🍾 What about you? What’s in your cup tonight? 🥂 And a thank you to @ethicalbeanusa & @influenster for this #complimentary & delicious coffee & espresso! ☕️ Being married to a Sicilian I’ve come to appreciate espresso (which I use for my copycat frappe drinks!) This espresso is sweet and the perfect addition 👌🏻 #ethicalbean #ethicalbeanusa #contest #complimentary #InspiredByEthicalBean @ethicalbeanusa @Influenster @influenster.eats
  • Our cookies for Santa are ready! Last year Adriana knew about Santa but this is the first year she is really into it... telling me what Santa wants to bring her and wanting to have his cookies ready. Thanks to these super cute (and cheap!) cookie kits from @samsclub we are ready to go! And we had a lot of fun decorating them. What treats do you put out for Santa?
  • Its our first snow at the farm 💗 This year has tested our family and our strength in many, many ways. But it’s also given us so many blessings - our new home, two new businesses and such a bright future going into 2021. I used to dread snow days for a few reasons...
1) I am not really a snow person. I had an accident six years ago driving in the snow [on the day that one of my close friends died] and it has given me anxiety ever since.
2) When we had to close the pizza shop due to weather, or other unexpected things, it was always stressful on how we would recover the lost money. Now we are able to have more financial freedom with our new ventures and things like snow days aren’t stressing me out like they have in the past. Instead, I’ve enjoyed the last two days off with my girls and had fun with their first experiences playing in the snow. This snow feels like a turning point and I don’t want to jinx it — but I’m hoping this is a sign for a clean, bright new year 💫
  • “There is little success where there is little laughter.” ~ Andrew Carnegie I’m headed back to work next week after SEVEN weeks of being at home - moving, getting my new business ready, taking care of my crazy kids. I’m excited but definitely nervous. Taking it with a big SMILE and being grateful for all the new changes happening in our lives. I’m so ready to see what 2021 has in store, how about you!? 📸: @wildflowerportraitsinpa
